A phoenix design. I think it’s too dense and needs to get some negative space in the central area, so I’ll probably redesign this one soon.
A dragon/self portrait drawing done on sketchbook, but this could translate into tattoo with use of grey instead of stippling.
I like doing drawings with big areas of tiny circles. It’s kind of relaxing. /slightly OCD lol
This tattoo was done by Darcy Nutt at Chalice Tattoo in Boise Idaho USA over 6 month period and 60 plus hours of tattooing on my friend Graham Taylor. Video was done by me Luke Holley. Hope you like it.
Darcy Nutt is, and has always been, a fucking BEAST. Do check this out.
A reboot of one of my other drawings—I took the right side of it and re-did it on this postcard size. With some flat color this could be a unique leg piece, or part of a sleeve.
A very small drawing (about 2x3”) that I enlarged about 150% and colored with pencils. A simple snake like this could be colored in a bunch of different ways, but I wanted to keep a traditional Japanese feel to the color scheme, so that’s mostly red, blue and black.
My client was a champ and didn’t make a peep during this whole thing. I was really impressed. Top of the thigh is a pretty sensitive spot.
Colors will be done in about a month when this is healed and I can’t stay enough good things about the .7 needle. Dang!
